Bill Koch Youth Ski League Monday Night Training at Sleepy Hollow

What: Fun nordic ski technique and racer training designed as an addition to regular Bill Koch Ski League practice. The focus will be on improving nordic skiing skills by working on both skating and classic technique. Most practices will end with relays and skills games. Bring plenty of warm clothes and a water bottle to every practice.

When: Monday nights Jan. 1st- Feb. 26th. Practice begins at 6pm, and ends at 7:30 pm.

Parents: Special reduced price passes are available for parents who wish to ski during Tues. night practice, as well as any regularly scheduled BKSL practice. $50 pp

Those enrolled in this camp, as a condition of being permitted to use the facilities of Sleepy Hollow Ski & Bike Center, agrees to assume all risk of personal injury or loss or damage to property. The purchaser or user (holder) of this ticket agrees and understands that skiing, snowshoeing, and mountain biking can be hazardous. Trail conditions vary constantly because of weather changes and skier and biker use. Ice, mud, variations in terrain, bumps, forest growth, rocks, debris, utility poles and other hazards, including other skiers and bikers, may exist throughout the area. Be aware that snowmaking, snow grooming, mowing, trail maintenance, or other work may be in progress at any time. Always ski and bike in control and stay clear of this equipment. Management retains the right to revoke this ticket at any time for reckless or improper skiing or biking or for other misconduct or nuisance caused by holder.

Jan 1st Skate technique - Bring skate equipment.

Jan 8th Classic technique - Bring classic equipment, have kick wax applied prior to 6pm if possible.

Please try to get here by 6pm. If it is a classic technique day please arrive by 5:45 to apply your own kick wax.

As a general rule, we will try to stick to our technique schedule ( i.e. Even if it's a wet warm night we'll, we'll still put on klister instead of switching to skating). For questions please call 434-2283. We'll see you this winter!
